LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — In observance of Veterans Day on Tuesday, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is providing free transit rides to all veterans and active military members.

According to a press release, in order to take advantage of this offer, individuals need to present their military or veteran identification card when boarding any RTC transit vehicle. All routes will operate on regular weekday schedules.

“We respect and value each of our nation’s brave military members and are proud to honor them in a small way,” said MJ Maynard-Carey, RTC CEO. “Thank you to all active and retired military. Your dedication, service, and sacrifice to our nation deserve recognition and appreciation every day, but especially on this special day.”
