A tragic accident in Stoneleigh, Victoria, has resulted in the deaths of two children and an adult. The collision occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Eurambeen-Streatham and Mount William roads. According to police reports, the car involved in the crash rolled over and was crushed after colliding with a truck. The identities and ages of the deceased have not yet been confirmed. An additional adult, who was trapped in the vehicle, sustained life-threatening injuries and has been airlifted to a hospital for treatment. The truck driver suffered only minor injuries. Emergency services have cordoned off the area, and surrounding roads are blocked as authorities respond to the incident. Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are en route to investigate the circumstances of the crash. The road toll in Victoria has now reached 251, an increase from 240 at the same time last year. This includes 18 children, which is six more than last year.
