Police have charged 15 people on 93 drug and weapons offences after officers raided numerous properties across the Gold Coast on the weekend.

Under Operation Whiskey Beck, detectives and officers executed an array of search warrants to crackdown on drug use ahead of Schoolies starting in late November.

Eight search warrants took place on the weekend in Burleigh Waters, Labrador, Currumbin, Carrara, Mudgeeraba and Mermaid Waters.

Police secured large quantities of meth, cocaine, cannabis, MDMA tablets, prescription drugs, weapons and more than $70,000 in cash.

There are now 15 people, aged between 21 and 25, who have been charged.

These charges range from nine counts of drug trafficking and 18 counts of suppling dangerous drug offences.
