The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 9:15 p.m. on Monday for snow until Tuesday at 12:15 a.m. for Clarion and Jefferson counties.
"A narrow snow band has been observed on radar tonight, north of I-80. Anticipate periods of low visibility and hazardous road conditions for the next 2 to 3 hours for northern Clarion and Jefferson counties. Untreated roads could be icy during the early morning commute," according to the weather service.
