MENDOTA, Ill. (KWQC) - The Riverdale Rams Girls Volleyball team is heading to state.
Riverdale won 25-21 in the third set over Chicago Christian in the Class 2A Supersectional.
Riverdale won the first set 25-15. But Chicago Christian powered back in the second set to win 25-22 over Riverdale.
It all came down to the third set where the Rams pulled ahead for a final score of 25-21 over Chicago Christian.
This will be the Riverdale Rams Girls Volleyball team’s first trip back to State since 2011.
Monday night’s game was played at Mendota High School, 2300 West Main Street, Mendota.
