TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Pima County is set to host a Veterans Job Fair on Thursday, organized by the Kino Veterans’ Workforce Center.

The event aims to connect veterans, active military, guard and reserve members, and military spouses with potential employers.

More than 40 employers will be present, representing a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, government, transportation, aviation, call centers, and warehousing.

The job fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kino Event Center, 2805 E. Ajo Way.

Gabriel Lopez, the Business Services manager of the Kino Veterans’ Workforce Center, emphasized the center's commitment to supporting veterans. “We want all the veterans and the military spouses to know that we are here to serve them,” Lopez said. “Once they come i
