As the Beavers made a big splash in their home pool the drought is over.
Harper Creek won a league title in girls swimming for the first time since 1983. The Beavers finished first at the Southwestern & Central Conference Championships at Harper Creek High School on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The Beavers finished with one of the biggest margins of victory in the history of the league as Harper Creek was first with 527 points with Plainwell in second at 318. Marshall was fourth with 301.
"One of the first things I did this season was sit them down and talk to them about this," said Harper Creek swim coach Chad Wager. "There's never been a flag
