During the Toronto Raptors’ 120-130 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, star forward Brandon Ingram drew attention for an outburst of frustration. Following a delay-of-game call, Ingram lost his composure and struck his drink in anger.

As a result, the NBA has placed Ingram under disciplinary scrutiny. The league fined him $25,000 for throwing his water bottle to the floor in frustration.

“Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram has been fined $25,000 for forcibly throwing his water bottle to the floor while on the bench,” the league’s statement read, issued by James Jones, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.
