Congratulations to last week's winner, North running back Carter Matthew, who received 63.3% of the vote (2,114) to top the Bloomington South girls cross country team (33.4%).

John Bargen, North football

Senior quarterback capped a strong season going 15-of-23 for 185 yards and three touchdowns in the tough 31-28 loss to South in the sectional final.

Shelby Ferkingstad, Eastern Greene girls basketball

Junior hit four 3s for 12 points as the T-Birds picked up their first win of the season, downing Brown County 47-36.

Luke Freel, North football

Senior had a pick-6 and tied
