The seniors on the Davies football team enter Friday's Dakota Bowls already having made history.

"I think it's really cool. I mean, we're the only class in Davies who can say we played two straight championships ever in our school. All summer, all fall camp, all season, we've remembered losing the championship last year. It's pretty cool to get back and hopefully avenge that," said senior lineman Gus Werremeyer.

"I think it's going to be a full circle moment. We've been working for it. We've just been trying to put ourselves in the opportunity to get another chance. Now that we have that chance, we're just going to take it like any other game and try and come out on top of this time," added senior running back and safety Kolten Tesch.
