TAMPA, Fla. – United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe today announced the unsealing of a criminal complaint on Friday, charging Tampa man Robert Logan Shoecraft, III, with interstate communication of a threat to injure and kill.
The 35-year-old Tampa man faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison if he is convicted on this charge.
The case was investigated jointly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the United States Capitol Police, and the United States Secret Service, and Assistant United States Attorney Lindsey Schmidt and Special Assistant United States Attorney Joseph Wheeler, III will prosecute it.
