A 49-year-old Campbell County man has been charged with a felony crime for allegedly strangling his wife.
David T. Marshall, 49, waived his preliminary hearing and was bound over to District Court Oct. 20 for strangulation of a household member and domestic battery.
His bond is $15,000, cash or commercial surety.
Marshall’s wife told deputies that he had become more and more unpredictable and feared that he would eventually kill her, according to court documents.
On Sept. 22, a sheriff’s investigator responded to GARF to speak with a woman. She was upset and said that her husband, Marshall, had strangled her at her home. She said she did not report the assault because she was the caretaker for three children and Marshall’s parents.
Marshall is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 300
