MEDINA, Ohio – With the nation’s 250 th birthday just around the corner, the city has received requests from some civic groups for permission to use Medina’s America 250 logo in programs and on other items, so city officials are working to put an application process in place.
Economic Development Director Kimberly Marshall said the application process would be in place for any entity that wants to use the American 250 logo or the City of Medina logo.
“For businesses and entities that plan to use one of the logos to sell merchandise and make money, there would be a $250 processing fee,” Marshall said. “Civic and nonprofit organizations who want to use the logo but aren’t using it to sell merchandise will not be required to pay the fee, but they will still be required to complete the log
