An injury to the head caused by a fall resulted in the death of original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley , according to reports.
A New Jersey medical examiner’s report obtained by TMZ shows Frehley suffered blunt trauma to the back of his head, causing a fracture, a subdural hematoma, and a stroke. His death was ruled accidental.
Frehley died on Oct. 16 at the age of 74. His family released a statement at the time saying Frehley had recently been injured in a fall.
“In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth,” the family said in the statement, the Los Angeles Times reports .
