In reality, Barrington “Anthony” Dunn — born to Jamaican parents in London — was less a Pittsburgher than a bright star passing through.
He came here after high school in 1989 with his parents — his father being the well-known British toaster/DJ Militant Barry — thinking he might only stay a few months. The family settled in Wilkinsburg, where he and his dad opened a store, First Class Records, and ran dance parties for about a decade.
