In a rare show of solidarity, professional footballers from across the Indian Super League (ISL) have come together to urge authorities to end the uncertainty surrounding the league and restart the 2025–26 season without further delay.

Under the banner “A Statement, A Plea”, players shared a joint message on social media, expressing their growing frustration and desperation over the prolonged suspension of India’s top-tier football competition. The ISL has been on hold indefinitely due to a governance and contractual standoff between the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL).
