People hoping to pay their respects to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice will have numerous opportunities to do so both on and before Remembrance Day on Tuesday.

This year’s ceremonies will mark 80 years since the end of the Second World War.

Here are the events planned around Toronto in the days leading up to and including Remembrance Day on Nov. 11.

Old City Hall

From Nov. 5 to 11, special commemorative projections will be displayed for free outside Old City Hall at 60 Queen St. W. , nightly from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
