Fulham are weighing up the future of manager Marco Silva, talkSPORT understands.

Tensions are mounting behind the scenes at Craven Cottage due to Silva’s reluctance to sign a new deal.

As it stands the Portuguese will be a free agent when his current contract expires at the end of the season.

Silva has never been shy to voice his frustration over the club’s lack of spending and admitted he ‘expected more’ from their summer transfer window.

It is thought the Fulham hierarchy are also concerned the Cottagers could be dragged into a relegation battle after Saturday’s limp 2-0 defeat at Everton left them a point above the bottom three.
