London Victoria is being gripped by rail chaos this morning (Tuesday, November 11) with both Southern and Thameslink services facing cancellations and delays. National Rail said a signalling fault between East Croydon and Purley is behind this disruption resulting in fewer trains being able to run between both stations.

Trains may be cancelled or delayed for up to 90 minutes throughout the disruption, which rail bosses say will continue until 6pm this evening.

Passengers are being strongly advised to travel at a later time if possible, as the whole network of Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express services has been altered.
