Dehradun : A year ago, on the dark night of November 11, 2024, Dehradun witnessed one of its most tragic accidents at ONGC Chowk, where six friends died instantly. The speeding car they were in collided with a container, leaving behind a scene so horrific that the city still shudders at the memory.

The car had started from Jakhan on Rajpur Road and passed through five police barricades without being stopped. Despite warnings from a mall employee who saw the car speeding, no action was taken. The vehicle reached ONGC Chowk, where the fatal crash occurred. The night checking system failed completely.
