Jeffersonville Police arrest two men on multiple counts of possession of child sex abuse material and exploitation

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WAVE) - Jeffersonville Police have arrested two men in separate investigations on multiple charges of possession of child sex abuse material and child exploitation.

The Jeffersonville Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit launched two separate investigations after receiving multiple cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The first investigation began in July of this year and another in September after detectives were tipped off.

Detectives were able to obtain search warrants for two separate residences located in Jeffersonville, one in the Jackson Heights Neighborhood and another in the Orchard Hills Apartment Complex. The warrants allowed officials to obtain computers and other digital evidence.
