Bima Bharosa, an Integrated Grievance Management System run by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), is an online platform where policyholders can lodge, follow up, and escalate their insurance grievances.
The site, designed as a one-stop grievance redressal portal, is a network of policyholders, insurers, and the regulator, where the complaints of policyholders are sent to the concerned insurer for action, while the IRDAI is responsible for monitoring the time and the resolution of the complaints. In addition, the platform features FAQs, a complaint tracker, and a call centre/contact page.
