Now You See Me: Now You Don't is as ludicrous as its title and premise suggest, a nearly decade-late sequel to an already mindless franchise that somehow overlooked one of the most obvious sequel titles in film history. ‌

Featuring almost everyone who has ever starred in a major Hollywood film, the first two entries commendably embraced one of the most preposterous premises for a blockbuster ever shown on screen, resulting in a gloriously perplexing effect. ‌

The initial film saw Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco, a group of globally renowned magicians known as the Horsemen, pitted against FBI agent Dylan Rhodes, portrayed by Mark Ruffalo at his most ticked off, including his Spotlight performance. ‌
