New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) World leaders and foreign envoys have expressed grief and solidarity with India following the deadly explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday evening, which killed at least 13 people and injured 24 others.

Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov said he was “shocked” by the incident and expressed confidence that the ongoing investigation would determine the cause.

“Shocked by the explosion at the Red Fort. Confident that the ongoing thorough investigation will determine the cause of the incident. Condolences to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured,” Alipov wrote on X.

Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong also conveyed his condolences and solidarity and posted on X , “Saddened by the explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort metro
