Hitendra Malhotra, Member (Operations & Business Development), Railway Board, conducted a detailed inspection of Pune Division, Central Railway, to review ongoing infrastructure, operational, and development works across key locations of the division.

He was accompanied by Arvind Malkhede, Principal Chief Commercial Manager (PCCM), Central Railway, Shyam Sunder Gupta, Principal Chief Operations Manager (PCOM), Central Railway, and Rajesh Kumar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Pune, along with all branch officers.

The inspection commenced at Pune Railway Station, where MO&BD Railway board reviewed passenger amenities, the ongoing station redevelopment project, and the yard remodelling works aimed to improve operational efficiency and passenger handling capacity.
