EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State University (MSU) and the City of East Lansing have collaborated to develop a new art installation in Downtown East Lansing.
Colored film has been installed on the windows of the East Lansing skywalk, which is located along Albert Avenue between the Marriott Hotel and the Charles Street parking garage.
The art was installed by MSU Assistant Professor Barbara Persall and 18 of her students in her Color and Design course.
“We hope this installation marks the beginning of many future collaborative art projects with the City of East Lansing,” Pearsall said. “We aim to foster a stronger sense of connection between MSU and the City, showcasing how MSU students actively contribute to the vibrancy and identity of our community, and how art can play a v
