Flights will be cut by 6% on Tuesday in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration orders, even though the government shutdown appears to be on the verge of ending.
Last Friday, flights were already reduced by 4% in 40 “high traffic” airports across the country. By 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, that number increased to 6%, and will gradually increase to 8% on Thursday and 10% by Friday.
