Oakland County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a Rochester Hills teen who has been missing since last week.
Janella Arlene Nicholas, 17, is a senior at Rochester Community Schools' Alternative Center for Education. She was seen getting off a school bus on Friday at 3 p.m. but did not return home. Instead, deputies believe she got into an old Jeep Cherokee.
Her father reported the teen missing later on Friday.
Deputies believe she may be on the west side of the state.
Officials said Tuesday they had no additional information.
Nicholas was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt. She is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall and 135 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
People who have seen Nicholas or know where she is can call the sheriff's office at (248) 858-4950.
