Bihar assembly polls phase II saw a record voter turnout of 67.14 per cent till 5pm on Tuesday. The final figures are expected to increase further, with some constituencies recording close to 80 per cent polling in this phase.
Brisk voting marked the second phase of the crucial polls, with voter turnout surpassing the corresponding period during the first phase on November 6. The first phase saw a record voter turnout of 65.09 per cent, the highest in Bihar's history.
