PITTSBURGH (WNDU) - The Notre Dame football team appears to be in a good position to make a repeat trip to the College Football Playoff if it wins its final three games of the regular season.

The Fighting Irish (7-2) were ranked No. 10 in the first College Football Playoff rankings released last week and they’re expected to stay afloat in the playoff race in this week’s rankings after a dominant win over Navy this past weekend.

They will have a tough test on the road this coming Saturday at Pittsburgh (7-2), who was ranked No. 24 in last week’s CFP rankings.
