The annual MLB general managers’ meetings are underway , and the Boston Red Sox continue to be linked to Minnesota Twins All-Star starting pitcher Joe Ryan.

The latest MLB insider to connect Boston to the right-hander is ESPN’s Jeff Passan, who revealed his “ perfect offseason moves ” for 21 teams (including all 12 playoff teams for the 2025 season) on Tuesday.

Passan’s suggestion for Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow and company is to trade for Ryan.
