Sikkim’s Dr Yashna Chettri joins Indian women’s football team as physiotherapist

GANGTOK,: Sikkim physiotherapist Dr. Yashna Chettri has been appointed to assist the Indian Senior Women’s football team during their ongoing training camp and upcoming international exposure tour in Skopje, North Macedonia.

The opportunity comes after Dr. Chettri’s commendable service during the exhibition match between India and Nepal held at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok, on October 29.

In the absence of the Indian team’s physiotherapist, the Sikkim Football Association (SFA) had deputed Dr. Chettri to assist the team during their three-day practice session in Gangtok.
