A Coatbridge woman fighting to have her sister re-homed in North Lanarkshire so she can help with her care has found herself at loggerheads with the local authority where she lives.
Esther Baker, 55, claims that the care plan in place for her younger sister Jean Baker, who currently lives in Greenock, isn’t adequate for her.
The 44-year-old was born with Velocardiofacial Syndrome and has severe learning difficulties, she has also developed sleep apnoea placing her at risk of death during the night.
