PATHANAMTHITTA: N Vasu, who was arrested in the Sabarimala gold theft case, has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days. He was produced before the Pathanamthitta Magistrate Court, which remanded him until November 24. Reports say he will be shifted to the Kottarakkara sub-jail. N Vasu is the third accused in the Sabarimala gold theft case. The special investigation team had questioned him a few days ago.

The investigation team found that during Vasu’s term as Devaswom Commissioner, gold was falsely recorded as copper. Statements given by the arrested Devaswom Board staff also went against him.
