SRINAGAR : The Jammu Kashmir government has completed 202 of the 213 projects undertaken under the World Bank-funded Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project (JTFRP), with ten works still in progress and one at the tendering stage. The administration has spent Rs 1580 crore so far on the initiative, which aims to rebuild and strengthen critical infrastructure damaged in the devastating 2014 floods. Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a high-level review meeting today to assess the status of the remaining projects and directed that all works be completed well before the extended deadline of August 2026. He instructed the Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) to submit weekly progress reports and ensure strict adherence to timelines.
