A 48-year-old Totowa man was killed after his car veered off Interstate 287 and overturned over the weekend, authorities said.

The crash happened around 3:14 a.m. on the Exit 12 southbound ramp when the man’s Acura passenger car ran off the roadway and struck several trees before overturning on Sunday, Nov. 9, Sgt. Charles Marchan said.

The driver died, Marchan said. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
