The UK has stopped sharing some intelligence with the US amid fears military strikes ordered by Donald Trump on boats allegedly carrying drugs are illegal, it has been reported.
America has carried out more than a dozen strikes since September on vessels near the Venezuelan coast and the eastern Pacific Ocean, killing more than 70 people.
Two more boats were blown up on Sunday , killing six people, according to US defence secretary Pete Hegseth.
In a post on X showing video footage of the strikes, he said: ” These vessels were known by our intelligence to be associated with illicit narcotics smuggling, were carrying narcotics, and were transiting along a known narco-trafficking transit route in the Eastern Pacific.
