A POLICE officer accused of guns and weapons offences and stealing while employed with the force has had his case delayed again after changing lawyers.
Jonathan James Martin did not appear in Armidale Local Court this week when his case with 21 charges was mentioned again.
In August, his bid to have the charges diverted away from the criminal system, and dealt with under mental health legislation, was rejected by Magistrate Mark Richardson.
Martin subsequently pleaded not guilty to the offences in court.
The case had been adjourned to this week to set a hearing date, but the court was told Martin's solicitor had withdrawn from the case.
