Aamir Khan and his girlfriend Gauri Spratt visited veteran actor Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. This visit comes as concerns grow over the health of the 89-year-old star, who was admitted earlier this week due to breathlessness and is currently under medical observation.
In photos captured by the media, Aamir appeared somber, dressed in a white kurta, as he left the hospital without his usual smile. Gauri, sitting beside him in the car, covered her face from the camera flashes. Their visit follows that of other Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, who checked on Dharmendra's health on Monday evening. Shah Rukh was accompanied by his son, Aryan Khan.
Dharmendra's family has been present at the hospital, with his children Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Esha Deol, along with his wife Hema Malini, visiting throughout the day. Esha Deol addressed the media, stating, "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa's speedy recovery."
Hema Malini also criticized unverified reports claiming Dharmendra had passed away, calling it "unforgivable" and urging respect for their family's privacy. Despite the rumors, the family confirmed that Dharmendra is responding to treatment and remains stable.
Fans have gathered outside his Juhu home, seeking updates on his health, while fellow actors and politicians have expressed their wishes for his recovery on social media. Dharmendra, known as the 'He-Man' of Bollywood, has had a remarkable career spanning over six decades, featuring in more than 300 films. His legacy in Hindi cinema is widely celebrated.
