LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mayor Craig Greenberg, D-Louisville, is proposing mid-year adjustments to the City of Louisville’s budget.
“Thanks to our responsible management of the city’s resources, we have another opportunity to make significant investments that will improve public safety and quality of life in neighborhoods throughout our city,” said Mayor Greenberg during a news briefing on Tuesday.
According to the mayor, the city has around $17 million available for mid-year adjustments, including around $10 million in surplus funds from the previous fiscal year’s budget along with funds previously allocated for other projects that will no longer be used.
