NEEDHAM, Mass. —

Verizon customers in Massachusetts may be experiencing issues with data, voice, text and/or home internet services.

After several users reported difficulty with their devices, NewsCenter 5 checked various Boston-area addresses in Verizon's network status tool . At several addresses, the system confirmed that services are "limited."

"There is a known issue, and we're working on a solution," the site said.

The site suggests that the network disruptions began this morning and that Verizon expects service to be restored by late afternoon.

NewsCenter 5 has asked Verizon for additional information.
