Duke football went from celebrating its first win in Death Valley since 1980 over a struggling Clemson team to suffering a 37-34 loss at UConn one week later, its first loss against the Huskies since 2007.

The Blue Devils offensive turned the ball over three times while the defense gave up more than 30 points for the second straight game.

"Looking back quickly at last week, I'm disappointed in the outcome," head coach Manny Diaz said on Monday, Nov. 10. "... I think the game, as you broke it down, is simple - especially in the second half. We were just unable to get off the field on possession downs to get the ball back to our offense."
