GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred early Monday.

Officials responded to a residence on Parkgate Court in Simpsonville, after Greenville County Communications received a 911 call around 4:16 a.m. regarding a person with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was found dead upon deputies’ arrival.

No suspects have been identified at this point, according to deputies.

This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is requested to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
