SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. —

An investigation is underway after a shooting left one person dead in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

On Tuesday, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said that a 911 call came in around 4:15 a.m. Monday regarding a person with at least one gunshot wound at a home on Parkgate Court.

When deputies arrived, the victim was found dead.

At this time, no suspects have been identified in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
