However, those who put practicality above picturesque views may quickly notice one thing that is missing. There's no shop: neither a Tesco Extra nor a little Co-op corner store.

The nearest place to go for a loaf of bread or a pint of milk is the Waitrose in Spaldwick, about three miles away. For a choice of shops, residents have to head to Huntingdon, around 10 miles away and a 17-minute drive along the A14 .
