HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Officials with the Henderson City and County Rescue Crew says two separate accidents compromised emergency vehicles and sent one crew member to the hospital.

In a Facebook post, officials say the first accident happened Monday in the area of Sand Lane and Green Street.

Crews were using a wrecker to load a wrecked vehicle, when another car hit the wrecker.

No one was injured.

The second accident happened on the new section of I-69.

Crews were responding to an accident with injuries, and crews set up truck 752 to block oncoming traffic and divert it into the other lane.

Officials say after the crew had exited the truck, leaving emergency lights on, it was struck by a car and pushed over 20 feet into another emergency vehicle.
