Billy Hugh Tidwell (Age 91) of Columbia, TN passed away Friday, November 7, 2025.

Billy grew up in Burns, TN in Dickson County. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Air Force and soon became Jet Engine Maintenance Instructor. After leaving the Air Force he continued working in the Aeronautics with Lockheed Aircraft until the late 1960’s while traveling all over the U. S. He returned home and became a skilled cabinet maker until his retirement. He loved traveling out west and made many trips there. He moved to Idaho but returned to Tennessee after the death of his beloved wife, Margie. He later took many trips out west with his traveling buddy, Earl Cantrell. He met Betty Hudspeth, and they became partners and traveled together and enjoyed life together. Billy bec
