Hundreds gathered under cloudy November skies at the Trenton Cenotaph to pay their respects to Canada’s fallen during Quinte West’s annual Remembrance Day ceremony.
Local cadet squadrons stood vigil at the cenotaph for 24 hours leading up to the ceremony, maintaining a steady presence as the community gathered to honour veterans.

The parade of veterans and military personnel made its way from Branch 110 of the Royal Canadian Legion to the Cenotaph at Fraser Park shortly after 10:30 a.m., marking the beginning of the solemn observance. Crowds lined Dundas Street West as flags were carried high and the sound of the marching band echoed through downtown Trenton.
