Jannik Sinner has opened his campaign at the ATP Finals. The Italian is looking to win his second successive ATP Finals title and is also in the running for the World No.1 ranking.

While he is focusing on his performance, Sinner was asked whether he keeps track of other results, in particular Carlos Alcaraz . However, the second seed denied it and claimed that his priority is his performances and results. Sinner said in his post-match press conference:

My team and I are barely watching the other matches. Obviously, I know the results, but we’re paying close attention to what we’re doing. I don’t waste energy watching the other matches, so I can concentrate all my focus on the important moments that are coming up.
