A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of two individuals on multiple firearms charges early Tuesday morning.

Officers pulled over a vehicle with a defective brake light, after which they observed the rear passenger hunched over, prompting an exit order and pat frisk.

The police officers recovered two firearms in the vehicle and arrested Zion Ford, 18, of Boston, and Jamori Freeman, 21, of West Roxbury.

One firearm was a Smith & Wesson SD9 VE, loaded with one round in the chamber and seven rounds in the magazine, which has a capacity of sixteen rounds.

The second firearm was a Deterrence Dispensed Civilized Defense CDD 17.2 with an attached light, loaded with one round in the chamber and ten rounds in a sixteen-round-capacity magazine.
